Tata Motors, one of the leading automakers in the country has earned a 4-star safety rating for Zest compact sedan in crash test conducted by the Global NCAP. The fresh scores makes it the very first passenger vehicle from an Indian company which has scored high points on the safety aspect. However, the base variant which misses out on airbag has scored a zero starlet as it fails to qualify under basic parameters set by the Global NCAP.

Tata Motors Group global sales decrease by eight per cent in July 2015

Tata Motors Global Group which includes Jaguar Land Rover sold 73,535 vehicles in July 2015. This shows an eight per cent decline in sales in comparison to the cars sold in the same month in 2014. However, the cumulative wholesales for the fiscal remained vapid over the last fiscal at Trio,07,017 units last month.
