1. To apply for assistance go to: www.disasterassistance.gov
Two. Click “Apply Online”
Three. The application will take 18-20 minutes.
Four. You will need to know the following to apply:
(a) Social security number;
(b) What type of insurance you presently carry;
(c) Family gross total household income; and
(d) Good contact information.
Five. Have pen and paper available to record information during the registration process.

7. For help with your application, call 1-800-621-3362 or visit the nearest Disaster Recovery Center (see more information and links to local Centers below).
