Cruise News: Get a 2-for-1 Deal From MSC

Sure, April showers bring May flowers, but the month also ushers in a earnestly good cruise deal from MSC.

Now through May 31, you can snag two-for-one fare on select Caribbean, Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and United Arab Emirates cruises through November, with fifty percent taken off the regular fare. (Prices are calculated based on dual occupancy.)

MSC is known for its reasonable prices, so expect to find a seven-night cruise in an ocean view stateroom in the ballpark of $500 per person.

A seven-night Caribbean cruise from Miami in July – usually $820 per person in an ocean view cabin – would come down to $410 per person with the discount. If you’re willing to book an inwards cabin, you can find rates as low as $299 per person with the promo. (Note that the sailings that qualify for the discount take place during hurricane season, so keep that risk in mind before booking.)

Rather tour Europe over sun and sand? The deal brings your fare on a seven-night Mediterranean cruise from $878 per person to $439 per person for an ocean view stateroom — some of the cheapest fare out there for a Med cruise. Just don’t leave behind that you’ll have to factor in your own roundtrip airfare to Barcelona or Livorno.

A seven-night Northern Europe cruise to the Norwegian fjords will run you a little more, (down to $599 per person in an ocean view stateroom from $1,199 per person) but that’s a petite price to see the Northern Lights during prime season, right?

The deal also applies on the line’s Middle East itinerary through sailings in early 2018: A bucket-list-worthy seven-night United Arab Emirates cruise with stops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and MSC’s private island Master Bani Yas in February, comes down to $629 per person in an ocean view stateroom, diminished from $1,258 per person. An inwards stateroom on the same sailing comes down to just $419 per person. (Again, recall to factor in flight costs.)

If you’re thinking of taking the entire family along on any of these cruises, there’s even more of a bonus: kids under eleven sail free. And yes, there’s slew to keep the little ones entertained on these ships, including water slips, swimming pools, and a Lego-themed kids club.

Adults can also find cool onboard extras for a fee (hello, Eataly steakhouse, Balinese spa, and aqua cycling classes). And with cruise fare that’s half price, why not attempt it all?
