SUDBURY, MA – Pranav Gill, general manager of BMW of Sudbury, Sudbury, MA, has been named one of Automotive News’ forty Under 40. This annual program honors forty high achievers at new-car dealerships who are under forty years old.
“It is an honor to be recognized by Automotive News in this year’s Top forty under forty for North America.,” Gill told INDIA Fresh England News. “Thank you to all of my family, friends and clients who have help me achieve this milestone in my career. I could not have done it without all of the support.”
Automotive News received nominations from across the U.S. and Canada and identified outstanding performers in a large field of high-quality talent at dealerships. These bright starlets were profiled in the July seventeen issue of Automotive News, the leading news source for the global automotive industry
“The forty Under forty program recognizes dealership employees who display strong leadership abilities and are qualified, top performers,” said Mary Beth Vander Schaaf, managing editor of Automotive News. “The boys and women on our sixth annual list have significant business achievements and their job spectacle makes a difference at their workplace.”
Thirty-six-year-old Gill more than doubled the BMW of Sudbury’s net profit inbetween two thousand twelve and 2016. He took over the store in 2012. By the end of 2016, BMW of Sudbury’s net profit had enhanced one hundred sixty two percent. It was the group’s most profitable dealership in two thousand fifteen and 2016. Higher unit sales helped boost service business, Gill told Automotive News.
Automotive News said that Gill attributes his dealership’s success to “processes and people.”
When Gil took over the store, he made a point of getting to know each sales and service employee. He customized one-on-one training to help them refocus on the sales process, from the very first hello to finalizing the transaction, in an effort to make the process more efficient, Automotive News said.
In 2016, Gill was named the group’s general manager of the year and his store was among thirty two of three hundred forty BMW dealerships named as Center of Excellence recipients by BMW of North America. The award recognizes dealerships that excel in business spectacle and customer service.
